Chemical Peels involve the careful application of a chemical exfolliant to the epidermal skin (upper surface) specifically for the removal of superfiscial lesions and blemishes and to help improve the texture of the skin. Various acid and basic chemical agents have been used for this purpose. The nature of the compound, the concentration of the chemical and the level of time it is contract with the skin will determine the level of peeling.

Prior to your chemical peel you will require a "skin consultation" with Dr Sera Shoukru as you may need to prepare your skin for 2 weeks prior to the peel with a prescribed cream.

Sunbed usage is never reccomended before or after a chemical peel and you MUST wear sun block after a peel.
